Poignancy Overload
Going for days filling, filling the space, while, in just a few minutes alone, its fabric would rupture into tears. Things I can never say, because words have their own scope and human interaction its protocol. Witnessing a torrential outpouring of the effects of blindness, fear and ignorance this past year; decades of lives. Witnessing old cornerstones of the world flutter uselessly into space. So much anger, suppression, abuse, permanent denial, delusion, human tragedy, sacrifice, idealism, love, kindness, maturity, truth, transcendence, compassion, attachment, confusion, help, friendship... has emerged from this. Witnessing. And it hurts because the heart is too narrow to encompass it all. And witnessing that. We've analyzed everything ten times over, and words feel feeble. Not much to say these days.

The heart is massive. It will take everything you can give it, and just keep on beating. No good, no bad. just the knowledge that it is with you from the beginning to the end. It will go anywhere you take. So take heart, Nika, live your dreams and settle for no less.
Stevie Vaughn in my ear but Steve Cropper on my mind.
